It’s Not Rocket Science

We humans have the tendency to make things as complex as possible. We seek out books, audio courses, and weekend seminars to help us feel good about ourselves and think correctly. We ask the gurus for the miracle solutions for creating the life and joy we want. We go out of our way to turn something very simple into a complicated formula.

We are what we think.

We create events and circumstances through the images we hold in our minds.

How we want to feel is exactly how we end up feeling.

It may be less embarrassing for all involved if things were more complex than this. But they’re not.

Want to be happy? Think happy thoughts and start behaving as if you were happy right now.

Want to make lots of money? Assume you will, see yourself doing so, get excited about the prospect of wealth, and tell all your friends you’ll soon have much more money in the bank.

Most of us were born into what I call the backwards paradigm. We are taught that life happens as follows:

Stuff happens to us and then we feel a certain way about it.

This is WRONG. Life actually happens as follows:

We feel a certain way, sustain certain thoughts, and by virtue of all this we manifest like experiences.

Call it law of attraction if you want but that’s not even necessary. We don’t even need to name it and make movies about it.

We are, always have been, and always will be a reflection of how we think and feel about life. There’s no need to make a mess of things by over thinking.
