The way we think and feel consistently plays a role in the development of our own lives and in the circumstances and events in the world around us. Human thought is shaping the world as I write this entry, and it has been doing so for thousands of years.

New technology reveals the amazing power of thought, and the direct relation between the physical brain, the thought process, and the life experience. It seems cutting-edge researchers are telling us very much the same thing the sages and wise spiritual leaders of the past wrote in such timeless works as the Tao Te Ching.

What we think manifests into reality.

Whether you believe that statement means our thought patterns directly influence our nature and actions, or that I mean our thought vibrations literally manipulate the fabric of space and time, the core ideal is the same. Maybe thought can change physical reality directly. Or perhaps we only believe in this change and consequently we alter our conduct accordingly. Either way our destiny is shaped by the nature of the thoughts we broadcast.

So it only makes sense to think and feel positive, joyful, abundant, happy, excited, and inspired as much as we possibly can! The truth is WE CAN DETERMINE WHAT WE THINK AND HOW WE FEEL.

In fact we have absolute power over what we think about, which thoughts we choose to accept and identify with, and the nature of the images we hold in our mind for any duration. By choosing to think and feel positive on a continual basis, regardless of the current state of things, we are manifesting goodness in the world.

Science and philosophy aside, the concrete impact of positive thinking becomes very real when we engage it fully. And while I’ll be posting articles on a variety of perspectives, studies, and possibilities, the constant undercurrent of this blog is the desire to encourage sustained positive thinking.

In the same way a simple smile is contagious, intentional positive thought vibrations will improve not only the life of the individual generating them, but will also benefit the world as a whole.
